Kristina Wornell(Research Technician)
Kristina completed a Masters of Natural Science in 2018 at the University of East Anglia, during which she gained an interest in immunology and drug development. After graduation she was employed in the pharmacology industry as a Laboratory Assistant, providing immunological services such as cell culture and protein-target binding analysis. Kristina then undertook a PhD at Auckland University of Technology, followed by a Post Doctorate position at the University of East Anglia in 2022. Her graduate research background is in Microbiology, specializing in the use of engineered bacterial pathways to generate high value products. Her current interest is in the development of advanced cancer therapeutics. Her technical services include protein production and cell culture, these activities support the work of the Ishihara Laboratory.
