Elina is taking a 3-year interruption from her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Imperial College London School of Medicine to pursue a PhD. She also holds an Intercalated BSc in Medical Sciences with Translational Respiratory Medicine from Imperial, during which she completed a research exchange at Tokyo Medical and Dental University. Elina is working on a tumour-localised and targeted mRNA immunotherapy for cancer. She is from Helsinki, Finland.
